In the 6-7 times that the artist participated he managed to get himself to the top four at all times. Receiving this great feedback from the crowds helped the artist motivation blow through the roof and it wasn’t until then where he seriously started pushing his songwriting skills.After tons of performances in the U.K and his home country Cyprus, the artist dropped his first commercial club track “Bounce”. Immediately the track started getting radio play all over UK and Cyprus stations. His song “Bounce” was announced a finalist in the the largest songwriting competition in the world out of 15,000 songs to the final 15(International Songwriting Competition – www.songwritingcompetition.com). Judges to this competition included the presidents of most major labels in the world such as Sony, Emi, Violator, Universal and guest judges such as Run Dmc, Sean Paul, Macy Gray, Beyonce, Tiesto, etc. Also announced a week later (2006-07) Lyrical Eye was announced an Award Winner in another major songwriting competition called the Great American Song Contest. He won the award finishing No.1 for the Urban Category (www.greatamericansong.com/) During 2007-08, Lyrical Eye was once again named a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition with his song “Want It”, Runner up in the UK Songwriting Competition (http://www.songwritingcontest.co.uk/) with his song “She Knows it” and a finalist in the “Breaking the Band” Contest. Summer 2007 - the artist was invited to perform at the Popkomm Festival (One of the most important showcases in the world) in Germany, Berlin (www.popkomm.com) where he performed alongside the multi award winning Australian Hiphop group “Hiltop Hoods”. Other Music Festivals the artist has been invited to perform are “Pop Montreal” (Biggest music festival in North America) and also SXSW (One of the biggest music festivals in the United States). The artist will be opening the concert for one of the biggest sport/music events to happening in Europe on the March 12th 2009 which will be viewed by approximately 150 million people worldwide and televised by 150 Tv Stations according to local newspaper "Filelefthros". He will be opening for the official Cyprus Rally and also Pop Greek Superstar "Sakis Rouvas" with many awards under his belt to say the least. First Single goes by the name “Speakers Thumpin” - Track Featuring Atlantic Records Latest Signing Digga and the King of Hooks which many have compared to Usher “Fedarro”/ Digga - One of the hottest Vocalists in the U.K Boasting not only number 1 Artist in the Myspace R&B chart, but his yet to be released single’ Broken’ creating such a stir, that its already crossed the Atlantic. The fans have helped catapult Digga’s ‘Broken’ track worldwide with the overwhelming number of fan made YouTube videos, the figure is more than 170 and still rising, from Europe, Australia, Japan and the U.K, mustering up over 8 million plays in total!
