Lady Daisey was born in Brooklyn, NY, and grew up on the road, touring the U.S. with her parent’s band. She started singing with them as soon as she could hold the mic and put her own twist on Top 40 cover songs. The seed was planted… she was meant to be on stage. Years later, Daisey picked up the guitar and started writing and singing her own songs, performing her originals at acoustic open mic nights.

This is where she met beatmaker/producer, Batsauce, and together and they created an undeground funk/soul group called Heavenly Noise. They were married 3 years later. Daisey & Batsauce also hooked up with Therapy (MC for the ABs, formerly Asamov) and started the Smile Rays, with vinyl/cd releases in Japan, Germany, the U.S. and digitally through Rawkus. Lady Daisey is also a seasoned web designer and runs Firefly Multimedia, her homegrown multimedia studio, while Batsauce bangs out beats for Mr. Lif, Surreal, Paten Locke, Dillon Maurer and more.

Going back to her childhood roots of traveling and performing, Daisey & Batsauce recently moved to Europe to follow their musical dreams. Now, in addition to Heavenly Noise & the Smile Rays, she’s been inspired to pursue her solo career, over Batsauce beats, and step out as Lady Daisey.
