With the goal of inspiring youth to create urban music and to develop an international career, free workshops and shows will take place on 3 occasions in central Stockholm. The "pre-events" at Lava / Kulturhuset, go under the name My Urban Music Day and is a warm-up before the EU-Music Days.

During the free workshops, experienced music professionals and respected artists show how they work and share their experiences to a younger generation of urban music enthusiasts. In the evening different urban artists perform live. The pre-events are good occasions to develop new talents and to rise the awareness of new techniques as well as an interest for the music business, before the international forum for European Urban Music take place early July.
